John Browning’s 1885 High-Wall was introduced at the end of the
buffalo era, but made a name for itself during the golden age of target
shooting when long-range rifle shooting competition was an international
sport. It became one of the best known guns and was regarded by many as being the best Single Shot ever to be made. Production terminated towards the end of 1920.
