DEER RADISH Early August.  Broadcast the seed on a well-prepared seedbed just prior to a rain as the rain serves to bury the seed the appropriate depth (1/4 inch) and ensures adequate soil moisture for germination.  Disking is not a recommended method of covering the seed, as it will bury the seed too deep  very hardy and will germinate in drier conditions,  but must be some soil moisture available.  Soil moisture is more critical than temperature 8lbs per acre. 4 to 6hrs per day
CHICORY ADDITIVE  All additives should be planted in early spring to allow root systems to develop prior to hot weather.  Depth 1/4" or less all soil types pending adequate soil moisture is available. Does well in dryer areas where some clovers are hard to establish. pH 5.5 to 7 8lbs per acre. min 6hrs per day
MAXIMUM Ideally, plant at least 30 days before the first frost date.   Can also be planted in the spring in northern climates – either frost-seeded or planted traditionally as soil temperatures stay consistently in the 50°F or higher range.

TURKEY  GOLD CHUFA  Spring when all danger of frost has passed. Chufas need 90-110 days of frost-free growth to fully mature.  Best planted by preparing a firm seedbed by disking.  Depth 1" using cultipacker Sandy or loamy areas but will do well in all soil types pending adequate soil moisture and drainage is available.  PH 6.0 to 7.0
